While most other brands use regular soybean meal, Country Magic uses heat processed soybeans which contain all natural goodness and nutrition of whole soybeans including soybean oil, natural tocopherols (Vitamin E) and lecithin. These valuable components are stripped from whole soybeans in the production of regular soybean meal and sold to the human food industry and health food stores.

Important Note: As our source of animal protein we use Poultry By-product Meal. Most other brands use meat and bone meal, which is not as palatable as Poultry By-product Meal. Also, the protein is not equal to that of Poultry By-product Meal.
Why Country Magic?
Why do we call our product Country Magic? Because it contains heat processed soybeans! This is the magic ingredient for dairy feed, horse feed, swine feed and of course dog food. The heat processed soybean adds many nutritional advantages and will aid in the health of your dog. The unique and pleasant nutty odor can be picked up by your dog’s sensitive nose. Some of the nutritional advantages of heat processed soybeans are that they contain all the natural goodness that nature puts into whole soybeans. This includes natural soybean oil, Vitamin E and lecithin, along with high quality vegetable protein. While the soybean oil meal found in most other dry dog foods contains the vegetable proteins, the valuable, natural Vitamin E and lecithin has been stripped out. These valuable materials are then further refined and used in salad oil and the valuable Vitamin E and lecithin are sold to the health food industry.
In Country Magic, all these nutritional goodies are left in. This gives our dog food superior nutrition and a unique and pleasant nutty taste that dogs love. Just place a bowl of Country Magic dry dog food, and a bowl of your regular dog food in front of your dog and see if he doesn’t agree with nine out of 10 dogs that Country Magic dog food is the best tasting product. Natural soybean oil, one of the fats in Country Magic, contains a unique blend of unsaturated fatty acids, Lecithin and Vitamin E that are all vital in producing a healthy skin and shiny coat in your dog.
Carbohydrates:
Are the second most important energy source for your pet. They are derived from cereal grain. Carbohydrates provide an economical source of energy in the diet of dogs. Cooked starch is also digested well by dogs.
Proteins:
Are needed for the building of good, strong muscles and development of other vital organs.
